CropWatch April 15, 2011: This Week's News
Emergence and growth was looking good in this winter wheat field in Fillmore County earlier this week. By Friday, high winds and snow had swept through large areas of western and north central Nebraska, with rain occurring over much of the rest of the state. Nebraska's wheat, which had gotten off to a late start this spring, likely won't sustain much damage from the storms. The April 22 CropWatch will feature updates on the precipitation and wheat condition. (Photo by Brandy VanDeWalle)
