Nebraska Extension and the Nebraska Corn Board are offering the Ninth Innovative Youth Corn Challenge contest. This contest guides participants through all aspects of corn production, as well as agricultural careers related to corn production.
Seven teams from across Nebraska participated in the sixth annual Crop Scouting Competition for Nebraska Youth, testing their skills scouting corn and soybean. The top two teams will represent Nebraska at the regional competition in Iowa in August.
Congratulations to the Maple Creek Creators 4-H Club of Colfax County and all the winners of the Innovative Youth Corn Challenge sponsored by the Nebraska Corn Board and Nebraska Extension. Entries for the 2019 contest are due by March 15.
