Nebraska Extension will be hosting a Crop Production Roadshow in west central Nebraska starting February 1. The six meetings will feature brief updates on production issues and research topics targeted to the region.
New Extension Training Available for Applicators of RUP Dicamba

Online training is available for Nebraska applicators who plan to use new restricted use pesticide (RUP) dicamba products in 2018. Nebraska Extension, working with the Nebraska Department of Agriculture, developed the core curriculum, which is also being used for training at Crop Production Clinics and some in-person training sites.
McClure Joins Extension as Farm Management Analytics Educator

Extension Crop Reports

Tyler Williams, Extension Educator in Lancaster County: Harvest is rapidly progressing with most of the soybeans out and about 70% of the corn out. Corn yields have been very good and soybean yield reports have been fairly average. I haven't seen much movement of anhydrous applicators or fieldwork, but that should get rolling any day. (11/7/2017)
