Farmers and Ranchers College
Michele Payne, a nationally known and passionate advocate for the global agrifood system, will be the keynote speaker at the next Farmers and Ranchers College March 14 near Ohiowa.
Perennial favorite David Kohl, agricultural economics professor emeritus at Virginia Tech University, will present the first of four programs in the Farmers and Rancher College series. Kohl will speak Nov. 27 at the Bruning Opera House.
Crop insurance, the farm bill, and other farm policy issues will be the focus of the next Farmers and Ranchers College program Feb. 23 in Geneva.
