UNL Student Maci Lienemann Chosen Next Generation Delegate

Maci Lienemann, a University of Nebraska-Lincoln senior animal science major from Princeton, has been named a Next Generation Delegate by The Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Lienemann was one of 19 undergraduate and graduate students from across the world selected to participate in the delegation.
IANR Establishes Nebraska State Climate Office

The UNL Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources has established the Nebraska State Climate Office to serve as the primary source of climate information for Nebraska. Initially, the office will be focusing on identifying services, monitoring climate, and developing tools for user engagement, especially in the agriculture sector, including contributing to CropWatch.
Jan. 12 Heuermann Lecture to Focus on International Trade

The history and vision for the future of international trade for U.S. agriculture will be the subject of the next Heuermann Lecture on Jan. 12. Clayton Yeutter, former U.S. trade representative and U.S. secretary of agriculture, and Darci Vetter, the chief agricultural negotiator for the Office of the United States Trade Representative, will have a panel discussion.
