USDA: Nebraska Grain Stocks
October 3, 2008
Corn. Old crop corn stocks in all positions on September 1 totaled 167 million bushels, up 8% from September 1, 2007. Of the total stocks, 48 million bushels are stored on farm, up 2% from a year ago. Off-farm holdings of 119 million bushels are up 10% from 2007.
USDA: Nebraska Hog Inventory Unchanged; U.S. Up 2%

Nebraska inventory of all hogs and pigs on September 1,2008, was 3.35 million head. This was unchanged from September 1, 2007, and down 1% from June 1, 2008.
