Annie’s Project Retreat Nov. 4-5 in Scottsbluff

Nebraska Extension will offer an Annie’s Project Retreat Nov. 4-5 at the Panhandle Research and Extension Center in Scottsbluff. Annie’s Project empowers farm and ranch women to be better business owners and partners.

The two-day retreat is designed to help farm and ranch women develop management and decision-making skills for their operations. Sessions include brief presentations, discussions focused on participant questions, and hands-on applications of risk management strategies. Annie’s Project gives farm and ranch women the opportunity to learn from agricultural professionals and network with other women in similar situations.

The retreat begins Friday, Nov. 4, at 12:30 p.m. and concludes Saturday, Nov. 5, at 3:30 p.m. Participants receive handouts, an Annie’s Project portfolio, and meals during the two-day course.

Course size is limited to 20 participants. Pre-registration is due by Oct. 31, but if room is available registrations may be taken after that date. The cost is $75 per person. Registration scholarships are available. To register, come to the Scotts Bluff County Extension office at 4502 Avenue I in Scottsbluff or contact Jessica Groskopf at 308-632-1247 or jgroskopf2@unl.edu.
