Wheat Harvest Predicted to Drop 23% from 2014

July 10, 2015

Based on July 1 conditions, Nebraska's 2015 winter wheat crop is forecast at 54.6 million bushels, down 23% from last year's crop, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Average yield is forecast at 42 bushels per acre, down 7 bushels from a year earlier.
