Growers who conducted on-farm research will share results from the 2014 growing season at three meetings this February.
These studies were field-length, replicated treatment comparisons conducted by growers in their fields using their equipment that can offer valuable information for other producers. In 2014 more than 75 studies were conducted as part of the Nebraska On-Farm Research Network, a statewide on-farm research program addressing critical farmer production, profitability, and natural resource questions where growers take an active role in the research.
Data and information will be presented on these research topics:
- Cover crops
- Foliar fungicides
- Growth promoters
- Harvest methods
- Seed treatments
- Foliar micro nutrients
- Other nutrient studies
- Lime
- Planting operations
- Corn population
- Soybean population
- Use of polymer
- Use of sugar
