Postponed: Ag Financial Health Check-Ups in Bridgeport and Scottsbluff
Financial Health Check workshops originally scheduled for Dec. 9 in Bridgeport and Dec. 11 in Scottsbluff have been postponed and will be rescheduled. These are part of Nebraska Extension's 2014-15 Farm and Ranch Risk Management Series.
Volatile crop prices and rising land values have many producers wondering how well they are positioned to cover liabilities in the upcoming year. Attendees are encouraged to bring along their balance sheets and income statements. Workshop leaders will take them through financial ratios and show them how to develop cash-flow statements to present to bankers and how to analyze traditional financial ratios to provide management with measured objectives.
