Plant Management Network: Key Ag Information Resource

The Plant Management Network, a partnership of agribusiness, non-profit ag groups and research universities, offers information and resources on a variety of ag issues at its Web site at http://www.plantmanagementnetwork.org/. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a partner in and contributes to this network, as do 30 other universities, 18 ag-based non-profit groups, and 11 companies.

Site features include: 

  • Peer-reviewed articles on research affecting crop management recommendations; including four journals: Crop Management (Journal of Applied Crop Science), Applied Turfgrass Science, Forage and Grazinglands and Plant Health Progress
  • Timely news releases from cooperating partners on a variety of ag topics
  • A search engine that allows you to search extension publications at all the participating universities or at a specific university
  • An image database
  • Proceedings from national symposiums targeting ag issues
