East Campus Seminars Focus on Ag Production

Several upcoming seminars hosted by the UNL Department of Agronomy and Horticulture focus on crop production and pest management issues. All of these are to be held in the UNL East Campus Nebraska Union, beginning with refreshments at 2:30 p.m. and presentations at 3 p.m. The room number will be posted on a Union kiosk that day.   • "Flaming: Potential Tool for Weed Control" by Stevan Knezevic, extension weeds specialist, Northeast REC, 3 p.m., April 3.
  • "Sidney Long-Term Tillage Plots: What Have We Learned in Nearly 40 years and Where Do We Go Now" by Drew Lyons, Panhandle REC, 3 p.m., April 10.
  • "Moving Minerals From the Soil to the Developing Seed: What Happens in Between" by Brian Waters, assistant professor of agronomy, 3 p.m., April 17.
