Wheat variety Antero

Antero is an awned medium maturity hard white winter wheat variety developed by the Colorado State University (CSU) wheat breeding program and marketed by the Colorado Wheat Research Foundation (CWRF). Antero is medium in height with average straw strength and good drought stress tolerance.

  • Resistant to stripe rust and moderately resistant to stem rust, and susceptible to leaf rust and Russian wheat aphid.
  • Good milling and good baking qualities.
