The Nebraska Women in Agriculture program is proud to announce the launch of a new online course, LLCs for Nebraska Farms and Ranches, available through Aug. 31, 2025. This self-paced course will be housed within the program’s online learning community, Agri-Essentials, and is designed specifically for agricultural producers interested in forming or better managing a Limited Liability Company (LLC).

Whether you're exploring LLCs as a new business structure for your farm or ranch or looking to better manage your existing LLC, this course offers practical guidance tailored to the unique needs of Nebraska producers.

Participants will learn:

  • To decide if an LLC is the right entity structure for their operation
  • To navigate the steps and costs of forming an LLC in Nebraska
  • To identify and avodi frequent legal and tax missteps through better business management
