Water Quality Workshop to Explore Common Issues, Treatment Options and Health Risks for People and Animals

Concerned about the quality of your home or livestock water? A free workshop in Fullerton will help you spot problems and understand treatment options.

Nebraskans interested in learning more about their water quality are invited to a free workshop, Water Quality Essentials for People, Pets and Livestock, from 1–3:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at the Nance County Fairgrounds, 406 N Ida St., Fullerton, Nebraska. The program will help homeowners, livestock owners and rural residents address water quality concerns that affect families, animals and local operations.

Topics will include:

  • Common drinking water quality concerns in Nebraska.
  • Water testing options and interpreting results.
  • Treatment solutions for different contaminants.
  • Health risks of untreated or poor-quality water.
  • Local resources and assistance programs available to residents.

Speakers will share practical, evidence-based information tailored to local needs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn actionable steps to improve and protect their water sources.

The program is free and open to the public. No registration required.
