As the third annual Nebraska Ag and Spray Drone Conference draws near, organizers are excited to spotlight a diverse and engaging lineup of exhibitors who will showcase the latest in drone technology, agricultural innovation and career opportunities.
The event, taking place Thursday, Aug. 21 and Friday, Aug. 22 at the Lifelong Learning Center at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, is hosted through a collaboration between Nebraska Extension and Northeast Community College. Recognized as the Midwest’s premier event for ag drone technology, the conference attracts farmers, ag professionals, students, custom applicators, and tech developers from across the region.
This year, 13 organizations will participate in the expo, offering attendees the opportunity to interact directly with leaders in the industry and explore emerging tools, services and ideas shaping the future of agriculture.
2025 exhibitors include:

- Volitant Drone Technology Solutions — Highlighting UAV platforms and services for spraying, scouting, and mapping.
- VT Insurance Agency — Advising on risk management, liability, and drone coverage options.
New in 2025: Expo to Include Ag Drone Job Fair
In addition to product displays and networking, this year’s expo will also serve as a career connection hub. On Thursday, Aug. 21, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., the exhibit hall will transition into a job fair, offering students, early-career professionals, and job seekers a chance to meet with company representatives about internships, employment opportunities, and career pathways in drone and ag technology sectors.
“The exhibit hall has always been about innovation, but this year we’re excited to expand that into career development,” said Dirk Charlson, Nebraska Extension statewide extension educator. “With the demand for skilled drone operators, data analysts, and tech-savvy ag professionals on the rise, this is a unique opportunity to explore where a career in ag tech can take you.”
The exhibit area will be open both days of the conference and is included with in-person registration.
