Nebraska wheat and alfalfa producers will have the chance to sharpen their management strategies and connect with experts at Nebraska Extension’s 2025 Southeast Nebraska Alfalfa and Wheat Expo, set for Friday, Sept. 19, at the Saline County Fairground, 1600 Tuxedo Park Rd., Crete. This free event, hosted by Nebraska Extension and local sponsors, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Morning sessions will spotlight wheat production and disease management, while the afternoon will turn to alfalfa irrigation, insects, weeds and overall crop health. University specialists and industry professionals will lead the presentations, giving producers practical insights to improve productivity.
Attendees can stay for the full day or join for individual sessions, with plenty of time built in for networking, sponsor booths and industry exhibitor visits. Lunch is included for those who register by Monday, Sept. 15, though walk-ins are welcome.
Register online or by contacting Melanie Kunc, 402-821-2151.
