Welcome to the 2019 Nebraska Crop Management Conference

Welcome to the 2019 Nebraska Crop Management Conference

Welcome to the 3rd annual Nebraska Crop Management Conference. It is my sincere hope that the unbiased, research-based information you have come to expect will again this year help improve the success of your farm or business.

The Conference is a spin-off of the Crop Production Clinics which have a long history as a part of Nebraska Extension, beginning in 1974 as the Crop Protection Clinics. Our goal with the Conference is to provide information over a broader range of topics than we have been able to provide at the Clinics.

The 2019 Proceedings contains articles summarizing information presented at the Conference. It is intended to be both a workbook for you to use during the clinic as well as a reference. The proceedings are also available electronically at CropWatch.unl.edu/NCMC-Proceedings-2019 and www.agronomy.unl.edu/2018-NCMC-Proceedings.

We are continually trying to improve the program. If you have any comments or suggestions about how to continue to develop the Conference, please let us know.

Sincerely,

Chris Proctor, Ph.D., CCA
