There is still time to register for the 2013 North American Invasive Plant Ecology and Management Short Course (NAIPSC). It will be held June 25-27 at the UNL West Central Research and Extension Center near North Platte.

The short course offers intense, hands-on learning about invasive plants and noxious weeds, field site visits, valuable resource materials, and opportunities to interact with experts on these topics. Instructors will include:

A special session has been planned on the use of biocontrol for invasive plant species. It will include hands-on activities and presentations by experts who routinely work with biocontrol agents.

NAIPSC is recommended for weed managers from entry level to highly experienced who want to learn more about invasive and noxious weed ecology and management. CEUs are available.
