Quicken for Agricultural Producers

This program will help you set up a farm accounting system that will aid in tracking receipts and expenditures, tax preparation and enterprise analysis. Past participants have given this program very high marks. There is no fee, thanks to the generous support of the First National Bank Northeast, however space is limited and preregistration is required. Winning The Game—Land and Launch Your Marketing Plan

U.S. farmers are the most productive crop producers in the world. Unfortunately, good yields don't always translate into good profits. Some factors are beyond a producer's control, but marketing doesn't have to be one of them. Attend this program to learn how you can fine-tune your marketing plan and improve your bottom line. 2008 Land Managers Update: Trends and Flexible Cash Provisions

• Feb. 4, 1:30 - 4:00 p.m., First National Bank Northeast, Tekamah

"What's the going rate for cash rent?" That's been a common question in the last year. We're in a whole new arena with current land, input and commodity prices and determining what's a fair cash rent is more difficult than ever. This program will cover land value and ownership trends, share vs. cash rent trends and flexible cash provisions in rental arrangements. It is for landowners and tenants.
