Scouting for Stalk Borers in Corn
June 12, 2015
Scouting should be underway in southern Nebraska for stalk borers in corn. Begin scouting grassy field borders and corn at 1,300-1,400 degree days. Plan to make insecticide treatment decisions in corn when 1,400-1,700 degree days have occurred.
For more information on scouting and treatment, see Managing Stalk Borers in Corn.
