Mission
The UNL Soil Health Program promotes and collaborates in statewide efforts to improve the soil health of Nebraska’s agroecosystems by promoting regenerative agriculture practices.
Objectives
- Lead, collaborate, and promote multi-disciplinary Soil Health projects and events across the state.
- Develop, evaluate, and communicate the impact of management practices on soil ecosystems services.
- Build a Soil Health educational platform with research-based information accessible to all.
- Reinforce our Soil Health learning communities by offering Soil Health assessment training and educational experiences within and outside the university, collaborating with specialists, extension educators, and external collaborators and partners.
