If you're new to sorghum production and interested in adding it to your cropping options this season, check out the 2013 Sorghum U Feb. 19 in Kearney. The program is designed to accelerate the learning curve for farmers who are new to grain sorghum production.
The program will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Convention Center at 110 S. 2nd Ave., Kearney.
Speakers will include experienced sorghum farmers and industry leaders.
Breakout sessions during the day will cover:

- Sorghum agronomics
- Sorghum marketing opportunities
