Much of eastern and north central Nebraska saw rains this week, reports State Climatologist Al Dutcher, with NeRain amounts ranging from 1 inch at multiple central Nebraska sites to heart-of-the-storm numbers of 7.71 inches in Bancroft, 5.35 in West Point, and 4.53 inches in Eagle for the period from Sept. 23 to early Sept. 25. A reporting station 5.4 miles northeast of Coleridge reported 7.70 inches while one 3.5 miles west of Coleridge reported 4.55 inches.
