A television program highlighting the profession of animal manure and nutrient management will air on NET 2 twice in October. The program explores the consultants, professional manure applicators, and support industry of this profession.
The progression of the industry from the early spreaders to the modern tanker injectors and towed hose systems is highlighted and shows the high level of technology and know-how used today to manage this billion-dollar "brown gold" industry.
Modern Manure Management will be broadcast at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11 and at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 14.
