- Hailing Corn — Justin McMechan, UNL Doctor of Plant Health Program graduate student, explains how manually hailing corn may provide better information about how plants recover from hail damage.
- Planting Forages — Nebraska's farmers have harvested 62% of their winter wheat crop. Aaron Berger, Nebraska Extension educator, says spring annuals can be planted into that ground to provide fall forages.
- Grain Markets — Jeff Peterson, Heartland Farm Partners president, talks about crop conditions across the Corn Belt. Peterson analyzes the impact weather is having on the corn and soybean markets and outlines selling positions for 2014, 2015 and 2016 crops.
- Weather Forecast — Nebraska State Climatologist Al Dutcher gives the weather outlook for the coming week.
