On this week's Market Journal John Smith, Extension agricultural engineer, visits with program host Doug Jose about the importance of maintaining planter seed drop tubes to ensure a good seed stand. If they are rough or feel like sandpaper, replace them, Smith advises. Worn seed drop tubes can affect seed depth and placement.
