Todd Sneller, administrator of the Nebraska Ethanol Board, will discuss the state of the corn and cellulosic ethanol industry during a national web seminar March 26 from 11 a.m. to noon. The program is sponsored by eXtension.
Created by the Nebraska Legislature in 1971, the Nebraska Ethanol Board was the first state agency in the United States devoted solely to the development of the ethanol industry. The Nebraska Ethanol Board is an invaluable resource to communities wishing to attract an ethanol plant as well as developers trying to locate one. The board works closely with policy makers, economic development officials, utilities, regulatory agencies, and others to help coordinate and facilitate the development of ethanol industry.
