Crop Production Clinic Airing on NET 2 in March

Integrated pest management can be an integral tool in controlling crop production costs this year. To learn more about how you can integrate these strategies into your operation, tune into Nebraska Educational Television NET 2 for "Integrated Pest Management for Corn and Soybeans."
NET 2 will broadcast a Beatrice session of UNL's Crop Production Clinics. Program topics and speakers will include:
- Corn diseases with Amy Ziems, UNL extension educator and coordinator of the Plant and Pest Diagnostic Center;
- Managing insects in soybeans with Bob Wright, UNL extension entomologist; and
- Managing glyphosate resistance and weed threat by Lowell Sandell, UNL extension weed science educator.
The program will air two more times in March — March 28 at 8 p.m. and March 29 at 2 p.m.
The program is produced by Communications and Information Technology, a unit of the University's Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
