Biological Control of Insects Workshop Feb. 14 in Clay Center

Controlling insects without the use of pesticides or other chemicals will be the topic of a UNL Extension organic crop production workshop Feb. 14. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Central Agricultural Laboratory near Clay Center .
Robert Wright, UNL extension entomologist, will present "Promoting Biological Control of Insects in Organic Systems." The workshop will include an update on UNL's organic farming project.

Directions: From Clay Center at the junction of Nebraska 14 and State Spur 18D, go 4.5 miles west and turn north at the U.S. Meat Animal Research Center. The South Central Ag Lab is the building on the southwest corner of the MARC office complex.
