Volunteer corn is a problematic weed in Nebraska's crop production fields and poses a significant challenge in sorghum cultivation. Double Team sorghum is a new quizalofop-resistant sorghum. In this N Field Observations, Amit Jhala, UNL weed management specialist, discusses how the herbicide quizalofop (FirstAct) can be used to manage volunteer corn in Double Team sorghum.
