Average yield is forecast at 54 bushels per acre, up 12 bushels from 2023. Area to be harvested for grain is estimated at 900,000 acres, up 2% from a year ago.

Oat production is forecast at 1.92 million bushels, up 51% from last year. Average yield is forecast at 60 bushels per acre, up 7 bushels from 2023. Area to be harvested for grain is estimated at 32,000 acres, up 33% from a year ago.
