Growing Results: Western Corn Rootworm Control
Growing Results is a Nebraska On-Farm Research photo series that features various on-farm research studies happening throughout the state.
The western corn rootworm is a major pest of continuous corn in Nebraska and has adapted to overcome many of the management strategies used against it. Because of this, Nebraska On-Farm Research Network is partnering with Corteva Agriscience, the Nebraska Corn Board, and several Nebraska farmers to test alternative control strategies using nematodes and cover crops.
See the Nebraska On-Farm Research site for more information and photos on these research projects in Lexington and Madrid, Nebraska.
