In Platte County, Brent Melliger, Luan Oliveira and Bruno Lena are conducting two studies on nitrogen management in corn production. One study evaluates different sidedress nitrogen ramps in a furrow irrigated corn system, while the other study looks into the impact of biological products under different sidedress nitrogen ramps in a center pivot irrigated corn system.
