In York, Nebraska, Ron and Brad Makovicka are participating in on-farm research to study how soybeans in high-yield environments respond to supplemental nitrogen. Their goal is to develop a prediction tool based on this data that will guide producers regarding nitrogen fertilization in soybeans.
