Growers Invited to Prairie STRIPS Virtual Learning Circle

Women for the Land will be hosting a limited-space virtual Learning Circle, “Restoring Native Landscapes on your Farm through Prairie,” from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3.

This free webinar will connect women and non-binary farmers, farmland owners and/or operators in Kansas and Nebraska who are interested in learning more about integrating more native prairie plants and Prairie STRIPS in their farm system or on their farmland.

By participating, you will:

  • Learn more about native prairie in Kansas and Nebraska and the potential ways it can benefit your farm's viability while restoring landscapes.
  • Connect with other women in Kansas and Nebraska who are interested in these practices.
  • Meet key resource providers who can help you explore whether Prairie STRIPS are right for you.

From 1-1:30 p.m., there will be optional additional time for participants to ask further questions of the service providers.
