USDA Reports Slightly Improved Winter Wheat Crop
For the week ending March 28, 2021, topsoil moisture supplies rated 5% very short, 14% short, 70% adequate and 11% surplus, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 8% very short, 30% short, 58% adequate and 4% surplus.
Field Crops Report: Winter wheat condition rated 5% very poor, 12% poor, 45% fair, 36% good and 2% excellent.
Weekly reports will begin April 5 for the 2021 season.
