In this week’s episode of FarmBits Podcast, Todd Colten, director of flight services for Sentera, St. Paul, Minnesota, joins podcast hosts Samantha Teten and Jackson Stansell to discuss the benefits of using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to calculate stand counts. Colten highlights Sentera’s FieldAgent platform, which can provide high-resolution stand counts, and provides an in-depth analysis on the algorithms and technology necessary to perform this function for any operation, as well as some of the other useful features Sentera products can offer to American farmers.
