Grazing Cover Crop Workshops at 4 Sites in November

Local farmers and ranchers with experience grazing cover crops on row crop acres will be among the speakers at Grazing Cover Workshops to be held at four sites in November. Hosted by the Nebraska Grazing Lands Coalition, Green Cover Seed, and Nebraska Extension, the workshops also will include presentations by Shane New of the Soil Health Academy. There also will be a summary report of the three-year Grazing Cover Crops project funded by the Nebraska Environmental Trust.

Program agenda

The event, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all sites, is free and includes lunch. Preregistration is required by Nov. 6 to reserve a meal.
