The following diseases were reported in samples submitted to the UNL Plant and Pest Diagnostic Lab from June 28 to July 11.

Soybean

East District – Rhizoctonia root rot, Pythium root rot, Phytophthora root and stem rot

East Central District – Rhizoctonia root rot, Phytophthora root and stem rot

Southeast District – Phytophthora root and stem rot

Corn

Central District – Pythium root rot, Bacterial leaf streak, Common rust

East District – Pythium root rot, Bacterial leaf streak, Common rust

North District – Bacterial leaf streak, Common rust

Northeast District – Bacterial leaf streak, Common rust

Northwest District – Fusarium root rot

South District – Bacterial leaf streak, common rust

Southeast District –Bacterial leaf streak, Northern corn leaf blight, Common rust

Southwest District – Fusarium root rot, Rhizoctonia root rot

Wheat

East District – Black chaff/bacterial stripe, Fusarium head blight

South District – Septoria leaf spot, Stripe rust, Black chaff/Bacterial stripe

Southwest District – Wheat streak mosaic virus, High plains virus

Chickpeas

Southwest District – Ascochyta blight
