Two- and three-year averages of data from winter wheat variety trials is now available in the Winter Wheat Variety Trial section of CropWatch. The data includes averages of yield, protein, test weight, height, for rainfed trials in four wheat-growing regions and irrigated trials.

Wheat production specialists recommend looking at crop variety data from multiple years and test locations to better understand how a variety might perform. Emphasize varieties that perform well over years and across locations. They’ll have more stability of performance and may do well under your specific conditions.
