USDA NASS Crop Condition & Progress Report for Mid-June

Corn condition rated 12% excellent, 74% good, 13% fair, and 1% poor, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service June 11 Crop Report. Progess was on track with 97% having emerged, equal to last year and near 95% for the five-year average.

Soybean condition rated 9% excellent, 78% good, 12% fair, and 1% poor. Progress showed 93% emerged, ahead of 83% last year and the five-year average of 79%.

Winter wheat condition rated 16% excellent, 52% good, 23% fair, 7% poor, and 2% very poor. Winter wheat headed was 88%, behind 99% last year, but near the 85% average.

Sorghum condition rated 5% excellent, 82% good, and 13% fair. Sorghum planted was 91%, near 87% last year, and ahead of the average of 86%.

Oats condition rated 4% excellent, 62% good, 30% fair, 3% poor, and 1% very poor. Oats headed was at 55%, behind 74% last year, but ahead of the average of 46%.

Pasture and range condition rated 7% excellent, 57% good, 28% fair, 6% poor, and 2% very poor.
