The following diseases were reported in samples submitted to the UNL Plant and Pest Diagnostic Lab September 13 - 28.

Soybean

East District – Stem canker, pod and stem blight, purple seed stain, charcoal rot

Northeast District – Brown stem rot, charcoal rot, Anthracnose, purple seed stain, pod and stem blight

Corn

East District – Anthracnose stalk rot, Fusarium stalk rot, Diplodia stalk rot, northern corn leaf blight

Southeast District – Fusarium crown and stalk rot, Fusarium ear rot, Anthracnose stalk rot

Central District – Diplodia stalk rot, Fusarium stalk rot

Northeast District – Anthracnose stalk rot, Charcoal rot
