Aug. 13 Meetings Outline Post-Hail Crop Options

Hailed soybean

Over the last few weeks hail from southwest to east central Nebraska has shredded corn and soybean plants, leaving growers to reevaluate how best to manage these fields.

Two programs this Monday, August 13, will cover expected crop progress and management options going forward. Attendees can

  • view photos from previous years of crop progress from hail through harvest;
  • learn what to expect regarding grain damage and storage problems; and
  • explore cover crop, silage, and forage options.

Attendees are invited to bring crop samples and questions for the speakers.
