Registration Open for Nebraska Hops Grower, Brewer Conference

University of Nebraska–Lincoln Extension presents the 2nd Annual Nebraska Grower and Brewer Conference and Trade Show Jan. 18 and 19 at the Embassy Suites Downtown in Omaha.

The two-day conference will feature a variety of sessions for hop growers and craft brewers.

Prominent speakers from across the country will discuss:

  • market outlook,
  • horticultural practices of growing hops,
  • pest and disease control,
  • harvest and post-harvest practices,
  • nutrient management,
  • legal and regulatory topics,
  • water sciences,
  • marketing and branding, and
  • crop and brewery insurance.

A networking reception featuring a Nebraska-hopped beer, brewed specifically for this conference, will be held Jan. 18 and is open to all conference attendees.
