The following diseases were reported in samples submitted to the UNL Plant and Pest Diagnostic Lab July 10-26.

East District – Phytophthora root and stem rot

Southeast District – Rhizoctonia root and crown rot

South District – Phytophthora root and stem rot

North District – Soybean cyst nematode

Northeast District – Soybean cyst nematode, Brown spot

Corn

Southwest District – Goss’s wilt

East District – Common rust, southern rust, Holcus spot, Northern corn leaf blight, Bacterial leaf streak, Goss’s Wilt

Southeast District – Southern rust, common rust, Northern corn leaf blight

Central District – Bacterial leaf streak, Holcus spot, gray leaf spot, common rust

South District – Southern rust

Northeast District – Common rust
