Nebraska ag reporting districts

The following diseases were reported in samples submitted to the UNL Plant and Pest Diagnostic Lab June 27 to July 13.

Soybean

East District – Phytophthora root and stem rot, bacterial pustule

Northeast District – Phytophthora root and stem rot, Fusarium root and crown rot, Fusarium wilt

North District – Pythium root rot

Corn

Southwest District – Northern corn leaf spot, bacterial stalk rot

East District – Common rust, Diplodia leaf streak, anthracnose leaf blight, common smut, Fusarium stalk rot, Goss’s wilt, bacterial leaf streak, northern corn leaf spot

Southeast District – Goss’s wilt, bacterial leaf streak

Northeast District – Common rust, Holcus spot, northern corn leaf blight

Central District – Fusarium stalk rot

South District – Fusarium crown and stem rot, bacterial leaf streak, common rust, Holcus spot

Hops

East District – Apple Mosaic Virus
