Changes at the Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic

By Kevin Korus - Former Coordinator Plant & Pest Diagnostic Clinic

Kevin Korus
As of October 1 I will be stepping down as the coordinator of the University of Nebraska Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic (P&PDC) to pursue a career in Florida.

Until a replacement diagnostician is hired, the P&PDC will no longer be able to accept out-of-state plant, pest, and insect samples. However, out-of-state samples submitted for nematode identification will still be allowed. In-state samples may still be submitted, but turnaround time may be delayed until a new diagnostician is in place.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with the clientele of the P&PDC and I will miss the interactions I’ve had with many growers, crop consultants, and home owners. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as the state’s diagnostician.

Sincerely, Kevin Korus
