Are you ready to renew your farm or ranch operating note? Learn about preparing the information your lenders need and how to develop a solid financial recordkeeping system at a Financial Health Check program this fall in Scottsbluff.
This program consists of three two-hour classes designed to help women develop a financial plan for their farm or ranch during this period of low income. Upon completion of this six-hour program, participants will have a better understanding of how financial records can be used to make management decisions and confidently discuss their financial position with their family, business partners, and lenders.
Topics will include:
- Basics of balance sheet construction and analysis
- Cash flow and keeping farm-ranch financial records
- Income statements for measuring profitability
The class is limited to 12 participants. The cost to attend all three classes is $20. Classes will be held Oct. 20, Oct. 27, and Nov. 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Panhandle Research and Extension Center in the Platte River Room.
