On this week's Market Journal, Greg Tylka, Iowa State University Extension plant pathologist, discusses his research on soybean cyst nematode and the effectiveness of new varieties in managing this pest. The interview was taped when the Market Journal team attended the 2013 World Soybean Research Conference in Durban, South Africa last spring.

The USDA’s recent supply and demand estimates showed U.S. soybean yield and use unchanged, but slightly lowered the production and yield for U.S. corn. Producer and market analyst Roy Smith will discuss how grain markets may change leading up to the USDA Planted Acreage and Grain Stocks report on June 28.
